Random post............
Went back to nyp somewhere last week n met up with jon for lunch and some stuff never change, haha..
I can only say he is a superman. 5 side dish economic rice and finish them up like no big deal, hhahahah.
Went to terminal 3 the other day and went to their toilet... when i reach the urinal, i saw this....
oh, a fly resting on it, so i decide to use the next one and i saw this.....
i was so shocked then i realised that is use for aiming...... is my first time seeing this n i find it quite creative. Maybe they should put something bigger like a cockroach or someone face there with their mouth open, think the effect of mis-aim will be better.
Things to do in SWA when you get too bored....
Went to see the hotel of overseas players of toyota cup last week and was amaze to see the touch pad interface....
Is my first time seeing touch pad control of lights and stuff so was pretty amazed..

Just reach home from a competition in tampines and quite tired now.
In my so many years of playing weiqi, i had the most luck in this one. I had my personal best competition record and really i am lucky, nothing to do with my strength though(sad to say, haha).
My first 3 opponent are not strong so manage to win them quite easily.
Fourth game was against a guy in hwa chong. Before playing i already knew he is a strong player and i expect to resign in mid game so i dun have much burden and took it as a learning game. Maybe i spend too much time in the fuseki n middle game, i had no time to think in yose and i practically was held controlled by him in yose. Though i lost he was not as strong as i expected or i should say he din play full force with me.
Fifth game was with wen jun. This is the only game in this competition i am stress with cause he is my junior n he won me before (he must be damm happy if he sees this). He was around 15min late and was left half n hour so i think he got abit panicky. In this game he made more mistake than i do but i think his real problem is he is too anxious to win and always wan to end the game fast which is bad cause it will only make u overlook alot of stuff.
Sixth game was with ryan. He is the chinese guy who look like a malay. I lost to him in dan research class before so i have to try my best. After playing fuseki i know this should be my game cause is those very stable type and i handle this kind of game much better than battle (shit, my secret...). During midgame he made more mistake n it was practically a sure win game for me after i infiltrate his territory. BUT... just when i successfully infiltrate into his territory i though i win for sure and i played a very casual move and it cause all my infiltrate seeds to die inside his territory. I was like siao liao..... So the game move on to yose and it became a yose game. I think many singapore players dun really give a damm on yose cause they wan to win by resign or they think is not important. I am not saying this because my yose is strong, i jolly well know my yose is not good too but maybe slightly better than average players cause i really love to read and do yose questions. Reason is because yose is fixed, unlike fuseki n midgame which dun have a fixed ans, yose does. In the end my opponent yose was not really good and yose somehow save me.
Last opponent was zhi xiong. I know he is stronger than me as he had lots of training. But i was looking forward to this game because i have never met him in competition and i wanted to know how good he has become so this game was kind of a learning game for me. In fuseki i was not bad but when it came to close combat it was clear that he can see further than me and i just suddenly die a few stone and the scale of the whole game move to his side. I guess he was abit panic because his time was left abit and there was this huge exchange near yose part and i earn afew in tat exchange. In yose it was my turn to panic cause this though "oh, i might win" flash through my mind and it is bad cause it make me lose concentration. Like way yls say, xin tai is very important in this game, should not be moved by greed or money or anything. "ping chang xin". Even a part where i can eat his entire corner i misread the correct point thinking it is not possible. When review of game i almost slap myself for making such dumb mistake. In the end his clock drop.
Was glad to help nyp get a team prize before graduate (hope i do, haha) but i feel so damm old them huiling keep saying 18 years n below.....

Yesterday there was a grand opening at the coffee shop below my house. It is a real different from the previous coffee shop, in terms of the shop outlook and and food sold. There is this BOTAK JONES western food stall which i think is quite famous, haha finally there is good food.
The previous coffee shop was horrible, the owner should be a caretaker in chua chu kang instead. No, i am not cursing him... he is really good at turning coffee shop to a cemetry. Imagine 10 stall with just 2 stall rented out and the whole shop is empty except for a few table occupied by old man.....is very scary.... i wonder how the boss manage to hold onto that coffee shop for such a long time.
I just received the mms from the police regarding the escaped terrorist. I think the description is quite lame...He is short(1.58m) and limp on left leg. I think the height description is quite funny...
