Overnight MJ again....everyone was tired and we decide this will be our last overnight MJ. Everyone getting old..............

Today is LG cup final...Who will win??? Will he be the one to break the record of being the lowest dan player to get a world champion?

I realise that some of my GO friends have a habit of looking at their opponent expression during a game, a few example would be junzhe, kay and many more.... I dun really have this habit cause by looking at their expression to decide if you have just make a good move or if you are leading in the game can be very misleading and you will start to doubt your move and judgement of the whole game.

I learn quite a few pschology tatics in GO

1. After you made a move your opponent will quickly made a move right after you. If you r thinking he is in a hurry or he got this imaginary 1sec per move clock in his mind, you r wrong... he is telling you that he has calculate all the variation and he is very confident about it. Sometimes is not true...is just a bluff.

2. Almost every move you make he will sigh and make very sad noise as if he is going to die anytime. He wans to tell you that you just make a very good move that he dunno where to play... This is a bluff too....

3. Everytime after you place your move your opponent will either nod his head hinting that you make a good move (of course is not, it means yes, u just play a lame move), or shake his head as if telling you he is in trouble... this kind of ppl behave as if they have some neck problem and cant seem to control the neck movement...

4. This is the most common.... your opponent will slam the seed as hard as possible on the board as if he is playing with a blind man. He look very confident but dun think so much...just concentrate.

5. You played a move and he suddenly pause for quite sometime and did not resume the same speed as before. You must be thinking you just make a damm bloody good move or you just make a handkerchief(shou jin) that caught him thinking right? WRONG!!! He is doing that cause he cant believe his eyes that you just played the lamest move in his entire GO life or he probably is day dreaming (maybe he is sleeping... try calling his name and wait for a respond...)

I am so bloody tired now cause i only slept 2hours yesterday then woke up at 8am, took cab down to bugis to take care of the competition stuff and went to bishan at night for meeting.



OMG!!! is tired de...........



During the last game of competition i saw many ppl with just 1 more point to 1dan and they r playing with each other intensively, both hoping that they are the one being promoted to 1 dan.



But GO is a cruel game, only 1 of them can make it.



I saw a scence that i am very touched, seriously. I dunno why. There is this pri 5 boy who played against this pri 2 or 3 gal in the 10th round and both just need 1 win to be promoted to 1 dan. Halfway through the game, the little gal suddeny cried because she knows that her situation in the game is not very good. Her parents were so worried and told her that she dun have to continue if she dun feel want to. But the gal wipe her tears and insist that she wans to continue the game. She then carry on sobbing and continued the game.



I am really shocked that the gal is so insist on continuing the game. Knowing that the next chance to be 1dan is next year, she still face the match with so much courage...How many child can do that?

Looking at this child it makes me think that there is still hope in the future GO of singapore.

Went to watch death note marathon on sat with shi hao, kay, monkey sis, kailian n her sis. Imagine seating in the theather for almost 8hours!! wah!!! seat till leg rot....

I think the movie is very nice, especially the ending cause is very sad that L is going to die.

"even if u r a genius, you cannot change the world" a sentence in the movie that caught my attention.

Today is second day of exam.

And it sux..

Today's exam is a total flop. Have to choose 4 question out of 5. I memorise so many things and out of the whole paper only 2 small parts(not even whole questions) came out. gosh.... dunno how i am going to pass.

When i was struggling on the questions my teacher came to me and said "dun give up, just draw and write something" So i use all my brain juice to create some story out even though it make no sense to me. And the diagrams...oh my... i dun even know what the question mean how u expect me to draw out... but still i pomp out a few picture which look like retarded first drawing attempt.

When i came out i realise my classmates (those very pro de) say is very difficult too.. So is a relieve. hahaha

Tml is the last day and after that overnight MAHJONG in junzhe house!!!

Today is ah nen (indian man) exam and i am real dead. Most of the stuff i study din come out. Dun think i can get even 20 marks.

I think i really got too obsesses with mahjong. I just went for a nap and once i close my eyes all the tiles appear in my mind. And when i finally sleep i dream of myself playing mahjong and suddenly i shouted "PONG" in my dream and i woke up. wah...very xin gu....

Oh yar when i was watching cj7 i always thought the little kid in the movie is a boy. To my horror he is a girl!!... omg....

Night went swensen with monkey sis for dinner. Is so ex...$60++ for 2 ppl.... feel like vomiting now cause very full.

Went to kay house for mahjong today and yls house for chinese new year visit. Yls house is more or less expected cause he live alone but he got SCV leh... got all the channel i wanna watch, haha. Kay house is like junzhe house except no cat (cat sux) and tat is good.

Mahjong is fun.

Learnt mahjong few days ago and SHIT!!! i seem quite addicted to it........

HAHA...i even went to watch a mahjong anime... is quite fun but not as fun as GO... now i know y my sis like mahjong sooooo much...

Today went to see toyota selection for singapore representatives. Champion for asia qualifying is 1,000 us dollar, champion for the finals is 500,000us dollar plus a car.

Looking at kls and yls play really motivated me alot. I was kind of sad when i was watching the last match where yls VS jia cheng because yls suddenly look very old le. In this game only the young can survive cause stamina is so important. When yls reach the last match he look so tired and there was once he almost lost.

The best way to return favour to yls is to win him.

Yesterday i did a unbelieveable thing.

I taught my dad GO.

Haha, though i learn this game for around 3 years le but it never cross my mind to teach my dad untill yesterday. He was browsing SCV games and suddenly ask me if that game on the tv screen is weiqi, of course is not...is reversi.

And since he so free muhahahaha....taught him GO.

First time i find something to link to my dad. Normally dun really like talking to my dad cause he dun take jokes and when i say lame things to him, he will give me a "i dont like jokes" face. Is so boring to have a dad like that. My mum on the other hand is quite lame (not the physical handicapp type of lame), that is good cause it makes life funny n interesting.

I remember there was once at my granny place when my relative ask my mum if i got a gf, then she said yes. I was like huh??? is she seeing things? So my relative carry on asking is she pretty and so on... my mum say "yar, is pretty... she has black and white face."
