Me and my sis are abit crazy about puzzle these few days.... Got her this 500 piece puzzle for christmas and was surprise she complete it on the second day, haha...Think me and my sis spend $100 plus together on puzzle on today and yesterday. Just complete my third one, saving up to buy the frame.

Was awake early today cause have to rush down to bugis to have exchange program with some players from brunei. One of them who is around my age is actually the founder of weiqi in their country, must be very tough for him.

Maybe he is the best player in brunei so abit cocky when he starts to play, thats how i feel because i arrange one singapore male player to play with him and the brunei guy won then i arrange another player for him who is a female.

Of course the girl i arrange to play with him is a stronger one but he was thinking of giving the girl handicap at the start of the game. Maybe he thinks girls know nothing about weiqi, in the end the brunei guy got thrashed by the girl.

So never underestimate anyone.

One of the brunei guy wanted to get a electric guitar so i brought him to a guitar shop. Was wondering y he wants to get one in singapore then he say singapore sell about $200 plus but in brunei it cost $1000 plus to get the cheapest, both countries have the same currency rate though. What a big difference in the cost.

Went to watch the curse of the golden flower today with my sis in westmall.

I dont like the show.

I will give only 2 of out 5 star. The fighting scence is nice but it only appear like 1 quarter of the whole show only, i rather watch night at the museum twice...

Wasted so many days doing nothing....

Reach home around 7am and was so surprise to see my sis giving me a christmas eve present, something she got from australia.

Went to sleep and woke up at around 7pm. Then went to fix the puzzle mos gave me for christmas, was quite a small one so complete it quite fast.

My sister went to watch deathnote and she said L and Light both died in the movie.. oh my so fast all die le. Then i see a chinese magazine saying deathnote movie on L itself will be out in 2008.

My sis got this christmas present for me and i am so touched, din expect this. was thinking of another soft toy again.

Spend this year christmas sleeping.

Yesterday was a day full of event and celebration, started my day by setting up games stall in a christmas eve carnival at a private school call SHINE in kallang. At first i thought is just any carnival for charity but it was a christian charity carnival so there was lots of singing on the stage beside our booth....

This is my game stall call steadyhand, haha lame name... named by one of my boys and the objectives of this game is to use a table tennies bat and hit the ping pong into anyone of the hole on the cloth. Not easy... i play like mad and none of the ping pong got in....damm.

Another game stall call marble something where u need to throw the marble into the can. This game is surprisingly popular cause it not only attracted the kids but also attract the "not-so-young" group age.

Last game is call strike out in another words means bowling....

Kids really love this stall cause is super easy...

Another part of the carnival. They can play games, guess chinese riddles and other stuff to earn stickers and these stickers can be changed for items like soft toys, toys and other stuff.

They had one band call happy days and they sang quite a number of songs... Never heard of this band though..

This is the stall where people can exchange sticker for items. The lady in white is our games stall nightmare cause she is super duper persistent. Playing the game stall dun require any coupon or money and before the stall even starts she is asking how to play and so on and when she starts playing she complain alot when she dun score and say the cloth is too far, the marble too small, never use bat to hit ping pong be4, bla bla bla... haha... real nightmare...

After that met jon in jurong east and went to buy log cakes, chips ans stuff for the celebration in mos house.

This is how we pass our time from 8pm to 12am. Time flies real fast and is very fun playing with many ppl.

LAU PA SAT and NEWTON CIRCUS are the only color properties i owned and even though they are the cheapest, (just right after the pass and collect $2,000 sign)it is very popular cause many ppl love to visit that area and i earn quite alot from it, haha. Jon is the property siao, specialise in buying plenty of property and trap ppl around the board. Mos is the hardcore fan of the 2 most expensive place on the board but no one seems to visit her, haha. Jerlyn is the owe everyone money type cause she only have 1 property as the rest are all sold out.

Hmmm, just reach home at 7am going to sleep now. Good night.

Went to sakura buffet this afternoon for lunch with my grandparents. First time they ate there hope they will like it.

My mum wants to watch Night at the Museum so much that she is dragging me to watch the first time slot at 10.15am with her tml in west mall.

First time she wants to watch a english movie so much, keeps telling me that she wants to watch everytime she sees the poster, dunno y.

Todays is a busy day... Woke at 11am today then went to my granny house for lunch. Hmm, this is the first time i have lunch there cause i usually eat outside every sat afternoon.

Decided to eat there cause the other time when i pass them the pillow i got from ikea they are kind of bored and nothing to do so decide to accompany them for a while and pass them the jade i got them from china.

Then went to bugis to teach till 4pm...

Went clark quay to get a frisbe for my friend birthday...

Went to jurong east to make a reseveration for next year reunion dinner...

Went to jurong green cc to touch up the competition tml....

Then went to my friend house to celebrate his birthday... So strange to see all the frisbe ppl there like bevan, ben, robin blah blah blah, everyone. Only bevan recognise me, the rest either forget me or dun give a damm, haha..

And finally reach home...

Went to help my teacher take over one of his class in bishan today and when i enter the class i saw this uncle who is just so damm familiar. I just cant remember who he is.

Then when i was about to start i realise he was one of nyp lecturer, my last sem networking teacher. hmmm, i think is the tutorial on tue after lunch and in his tutorial we are all doing our own stuff when he teach, muhahaha. i ask him "are u nyp lecturer?" then he ask me back "are u nyp student?", haha...

Kind of strange to teach a lecturer, lucky today lesson is just playing of handicapp game.

Today test was a mess, lets not talk about it....

After sch went to meet my mum, sis and cousin in IMM for dinner. We had pepper lunch for dinner. It was quite unique cause the meat are raw then u have to like stir them many man many times till your hand turn sour be4 you can eat. Not bad but abit ex.

Then went to my uncle house for a visit and was so shock to see his toys.

He is above 30 years old btw....

Teaching games by the professional to other country ppl.


Yang lao shi, nyp coach and the head coach in singapore weiqi association. I really have to admit he got real good stamina, imagine playing with 7 ppl at one time and stand for around 2 to 3 hours.

Kang lao shi. His teaching game style is standard de, surely seat down in the middle then the table is in U shape. He insist that the rest of the teacher use the same U shape too, haha...

Philip. A pro too and is my weiqi 'tuition' teacher, haha... well, most ppl think that weiqi teachers are old, hunchback with walking stick, coughing hard every 10 moved played but he is not.. haha..

My last game today made me very guilty, it make me wonder if wat i did was right.

Imagine you are me and you play till ending le but u know u lost by a few. But your opponent time is finishing too, in like 1 min left. Will you resign or u will play till his time finish up and claim the win? well, i did the later one. I feel very guilty.

Went to CWP pizza hut with jon and meng yeow for dinner. We ordered a merry festa meal which consist of a large pizza, 6 drumlets, 4 soup, some honey-star and 4 cup of pepsi. The lamest thing is that we were given 2 regular pizza instead, around 12 slice because the kitchen chef did a wrong size so gave us one more pizza.

looking at this pic makes me feel like puking. There was too much pizza for us and we had trouble finishing them. cant believe we pay so much to get tortured.

Tall Dao is the champion, he ate 4 slice of pizza.

Jon not bad too, ate 3 and a half slice. In the end it cost $51.

If it wasnt for that will i still be playing GO?

china trip

So glad i am back to singapore after getting tortured by the weather in shanghai for 10 days. Is the first time i want to go back home so much when i am overseas. Imagine wearing 3 clothing everyday and u still feel damm cold, is really bad. Weiqi side is good even though i lost all my games in the competition. I can only say the kids there are monster...All my opponent are from 3 to 5 dan and my job is not to die too horriblely, haha...good experience though.

Nanjing hotel. The hotel which i have been staying for the past 9 nights. Although the room is kind of small everything else was great. Only the last day then i realise is a 2 star hotel. I thought it was a 3 or 4 star one.

One of the junctions... The traffic lights in china are just deco. No one follows the rules. In singapore red ligh means stop, yellow means prepare to stop and green means go. However in china green light means go, yellow light means hurry up, increase your speed and go while red means horn as much as u can and go. So is kind of dangerous....

This is like orchard road to them...but too many ppl like going for war.

Mac is everywhere. They dun have macspicy and some other burger u see in singapore.. but they have green pea pie, yucks....

This is the sch we are attending everyday for weiqi lessons. 1 special thing about this sch is that they dun have canteen so the lucnch are sent to sch by food companies.

I was expecting weiqi lesson straight away on the first day but NO!!!! we attended i think is art class or dnt class... We were given a straight wire and are suppose to bend it into a tiger shape..

MY MASTERPIECE!!!! All the parts look like tiger except the head. Anyway speaking of puma, oh my the branded stuff like nike, adidas bla bla bla cost a bomb in china. Is even more expensive than singapore.

Familiar? At first i though this is the crocodile brand but was wondering y the word like so long then i realise is the imitation. This pic not very clear, there is actually a crocodile on the red line. To them this is not imitation, is just another shop selling clothes.

From far i though this was adidas until i enter the shop....

The boy in front is so cute. He is a 3 dan and i was given 2 handicapp by him. U will realise there is more black seed than white seed on the board. Kids in china is really smart, not in terms of weiqi but the way they speak and behave. Weiqi is not a easy game but kids as young as 6, 7 years old can reach to 4, 5 dan is really amazing.

Went to fudan university, one of the best U in china. Omg that place is huge, is like slightly bigger than orchard. There is even street name within the sch.
