funny poster on the door... trying to scare ppl away.
Look at how hardworking my sis is. I am so touched!!!!
My sis drag me to watch Mayday concert yesterday night.....
pay 131 bucks a ticket for a SIDE VIEW!!!!
really mean side view..... indoor stadium really know how to squeeze ppl in. There are even seat tat are almost at the back of the stage.... So people seating there will have those really really angry n bad mood face.
Look at the crowd..... what i cant believe is that there are actually auntie and uncle who went to watch Mayday concert!!! Unbelievable.... There happen to be 2 auntie seating beside us and they jump and sing like no one business.... is really hard not to laugh.....
I really hate concert!!! I pay so much to damage my ears... after the whole thing my left ear got some hearing problem...keep hearing a eeeeeeeeee sound... The music is too loud... I wonder how those old ppl stand the volume.
What worst is after the concert!!! So hard to take cab.. so we walk all the way out to leisure park car park and began calling cab. Me and my sis spend more than hour an hour listening to music cause all the hotline seems busy. Bad night...........
Tired day today. Finish selection and lost. This outcome is as expected but I got really upset not because i cant go taiwan but when review of my games i feel so speechless of the content of the game. It was horrible. Played weiqi for some time and the progress i made is tiny, i feel so bad whenever yls see my games, letting him down.
It is really so hard to continue this game when u keep losing while ppl around u r improving. If other ppl is in my shoe they would have given up long ago. But i cant. I have no choice.
Will i still be playing GO if i am like the rest? ask myself so many times and i dare not ans.
Good night.

So what have i learn in poly? hmm... the most important thing i learn is how to get exam tips and how to study last min. And i mean last min is like 1 day before the exam, haha. About my diploma, sad to say i dunno what i have been studying. Just want to grab a diploma for an entry to myongji university.
Know alot of friends especially the 6 of us, you know who u r, lazy to type out. ok, i better include renick too in case he reads my blog plus michelle who was in the same specialization in my third year and my china friend yusi. Dunno when can we ever meet up again.
Apart from them i am really fortunate to know a huge gang of good ppl from nyp weiqi. Cant imagine if not for hikaru no go, i would never know them.
All thanks to yao tang who pulled me into nyp weiqi and he is someone i am very very grateful to because without him i might not land up in any poly due to my superb o level result.
Before i enter nyp there are quite a few strong players but once i enter things start to change.
For my batch we got in only 3 people, me (of course) junzhe and zhen shen. Dunno y but yao tang seems to paint a bad impression of junzhe (maybe he got that "u better return me the money" face) so junzhe only appear in lanke and polite and doest attend training. After yao tang graduated junzhe seems to be a different person cause he help out alot in nyp weiqi. Good things dont happen long, he got expelled soon. As for zhen shen he is 1 guy i think has talent in weiqi but he is like yong an in terms of making female friends. I remember he was into tennies too and somehow he gave up on weiqi thinking he make no progression(stupid boy)... And so i am the only left!
The deepest impression of competition i had was the selection to go thai-u go when i was year 1. It was between me, zhen shen, alvin and yong shen. First match i played against zhen shen and i lost like lao sai. Second match i played against alvin and because it was a sure win game i played the end game recklessly and i lost. That moment was really a big blow to me. Third match played against yong shen and i won. Ironically that is the only win i had with yong shen so far in competitions. Never won him yet till now. I still remember very clearly 2 years ago, the singapore malaysia thailand competition held in bugis, i met yong shen in my last game. If i win him i would get first in that cat and if i lose i get fifth. In the end i lost by 3point (ing's rule). Anyway yong shen and zhen shen played in the finals for thai u go and yong shen by 2 out of 3 games. I will never forget zhen shen crying out like a big baby in swa bugis and claim if he dont win he cant play weiqi anymore, come to think of it he is 1 big loser.
When i was second year, our club only left rong yao, chen shen, alvin and yong shen. We got in jeremy, kaiwen, shi hao, wei sheng and many many months later, yong an and xing wei came along. Seriously i am very proud of this batch because their weiqi is like shit during orientation but they improve alot alot throughout the years. Nothing to do with swa lessons or yls lessons, is the hard work they put in. The number of games they play in net is scary, much more than me.
When i was third year, again no good players join. Now only left me and rong yao plus jeremy's batch. We got in cheris, wenjun, jun wei, zhi ren, penghong(MIA now). Cheris was the strongest at that time but wen jun really improve alot through his own hard work and became 1d this year. Cheris work hard too but i dunno, maybe gals r just not as good as guys when it comes to determination to improve or she give up too easily.
And when i left, we got in strong players like zhi xiong n xie tang. Nyp weiqi hates me....
Many people out there think that nyp is strong because we depend on 1 or 2 strong players but that is damm wrong. No one saw the hard work we put in. In polite games, other school think that we win for sure but that is not true. Fair thing about polite is that it is 5 vs 5 so it doesnt depend 1 or 2 strong plyers but the whole school strength. The polite games last year really stress me out because of the players position, i cant eat or sleep properly the whole week. I remember 2 years ago in SP when polite was held there, i was the one deciding the placing and we almost lost to sp due to suxky seating position and i learn my lesson well.
Other sch ask y they have so many training as well but still not as good as nyp. There is only 2 reasons. First is that nyp ppl somehow have the power to motivate each other to work hard. Second which i think is the most important and that is friendship.
Come to think of it when i was captain i din make nyp win anything except polite. Hope that nyp weiqi, now in hands of xing wei and wen jun will produce better results than i do.

AND YES!!! My parent somehow agree to let me go korea for 21 days for training purposes, cant believe is true. And they let me take singapore airline!! haha... business class and economy class price is huge difference, around 2 thousand difference. wonder what kind of food they eat there.
But is kind of scary to travel alone in overseas and worst in a land of unknown language. Good thing is i know how to read korean words and it helps alot. Must learn to be independent!
After 21 days in korea i will fly back to singapore, rest a day and fly to china for competition. yar, very busy man. The competition in china looks scary cause alot of country. Sad news for jc and james cause i will drag the team result down.
Realise there is a competition at taiwan in june and i wish to go cause never been to taiwan before.
Said this many times before but now is the time to really start training.

This is my dream photo!!!! taking pic with lee chang ho...omg!! look at how dumb cheris look, muhahaha...
I dont know.
I have 2 path, study myongyi uni or study at dojang.
If i study in myongyi uni, i will get a degree and that is a kind of security, but i dont want to study the 4 years degree cause 2 years of it will be unrelated to weiqi. And no guarantee weiqi will improve.
If i study in dojang there will be no degree and it all depends on how well you progress. If i made good progress in weiqi, is good news but if no then is a waste of time and money there.
Actually there is a third path which is take the 2 years degree in myongji uni and study at dojang after graduation. But i will be damm old.... hate NS....
Looking at how swa progress makes me very worry. swa need new blood... To most committe member they dont really care about swa cause whether it is is spreading well or bad it does not affect them. But it is going to affect me alot if i am going to do weiqi related job. What if swa turn into a shit place when i come back from korea?
Swa is a non profit organization and i hate this point because most committe member dont try their best to improve swa status. They are not paid so they cant be bothered.... swa is just one of the place for them to get reunion with old friends...
I want to be good in this game and i want to help swa to promote this game to many other people and make weiqi a new sports or trend in singapore but is so hard to excel in both.
I need help from young generation.
