This ceremony gives recognition to sportsman and sportswomen in 2008 and we saw lots of athletes including swimmer Tao Li, the table tennis players li jiawei, wang yue gu and so on. Personally i think this is a very good exposure to SWA and to the new young exco member minyi, alvin, wenjun and siong hwai who were there.
I am really happy that they are in exco not because i have ppl of my generation to talk to now but they share the same passion as me to change SWA to a better association n promote this game to more ppl. In the past is just james and jc whom i can "talk" to but james became manager and jc seldom come to meeting due to sch work so sometimes is rather tedious to talk with the older generation.
Hope in a few years time we will get to see ppl from SWA receiving awards from this ceremony.
